The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved the transfer of 65 acres of land to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs for establishing a regional National Security Guard (NSG) centre in Ayodhya.

• The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved transfer of 65 acres in Milkipur, Ayodhya to the Union Home Ministry for a regional NSG centre.
• The centre is intended to strengthen security around Ayodhya Dham–Ram Temple and enable faster NSG response during emergencies.
• The land must be used for the approved purpose within three years, otherwise it will revert to the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Department.
