The Government of India released National Accounts Statistics 2026, a key compilation of the country’s macroeconomic accounts prepared by the National Statistical Office (NSO).
Key Details
- The publication covers major indicators such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Gross Value Added (GVA), National Income, Consumption Expenditure and Capital Formation.
- These indicators help show the size, structure and performance of the economy and how income, consumption and investment are changing.
- The NSO is India’s central statistical agency and functions under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI).
