India and Nepal signed MoUs for eight development projects worth NRs 803 million, focusing on local infrastructure in health, education and agriculture.
Where will the support go?
- Projects include hospitals and health digitisation, agricultural and livestock centres, cold-storage facilities and an educational building across several Nepalese districts.
- The projects are being supported through Indian grant assistance and are designed as high-impact community development projects.
- Such projects form part of India's long-running development partnership with Nepal.
