Indore inaugurated India’s first virtual zoo and a 14-D cinema facility, using digital simulation to provide immersive wildlife experiences.
What is a virtual zoo?
- Unlike a conventional zoo, the virtual facility uses digital technology to recreate forests, animals and wildlife environments for visitors.
- The project has been integrated with Indore Zoo and is intended mainly for wildlife education and tourism.
- It was developed through a Public-Private Partnership model.
