Why in News?
The Gujarat government approved four Centres of Excellence to train farmers and expand natural farming practices across the State.
What will the centres do?
- The centres will be established in Navsari, Morbi, Bhavnagar and Chhota Udepur.
- They will provide practical training in natural-farming methods, including preparation of bio-inputs such as Jeevamrut and Beejamrut.
- The facilities will also support soil testing, crop demonstrations and post-harvest activities, making them training-and-service hubs rather than only demonstration farms.
