72nd National Film Awards To Be Held At Statue Of Unity

The 72nd National Film Awards ceremony is scheduled to be held at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat on September 22, 2026.

For the first time in the ceremony’s 70-year history, the National Film Awards will be held outside Delhi.
The 72nd National Film Awards will felicitate 92 winners for contributions to Indian cinema.
The ceremony is organised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the awards will be presented by the President of India.
