The Second Global Business Summit on BRI Infrastructure was held in Singapore to connect infrastructure investment with the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
Key Details
- The summit brought together more than 300 business and institutional leaders.
- It launched 12 SDG-linked joint actions and partnerships covering areas such as green mining, carbon-footprint standards, biodiversity, sustainable transport, ocean protection and women’s microenterprises.
- Two expert groups were created on sustainable energy and sustainable digital infrastructure.
- The discussions also covered responsible AI, clean-energy transition and supply-chain resilience within infrastructure development.
