Why in News?
NLC India Renewables Ltd (NIRL) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) to set up a 900 MW solar power project for Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL). The project was awarded through a tariff-based competitive bidding process.
